December 2016 Newsletter

Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers them out of them all. (Ps.34:19) It’s not who has afflicted you that matters. It’s how you love those who have caused the afflictions! – The Blackman

We are moving into the holiday season and many are looking at the New Year and what it will bring. I know that this has been a trying year for most of us as well as our families as the enemy has come in many different ways at us. This is not the season to lie down and allow the enemy to have his way, because he is a defeated foe! The Lord has opened up my heart to share the truth about numbers and what they mean to God and to us.

Looking into the word of God and his heart for us, his children, we can decree every promise as ours. The power of tomorrow is not to dwell on our past and what we could have and should have done, but what we are going to do for the Kingdom of God today. Going into 2017, we must complete some things in 2016 first, before the fullness of what God has for us in this upcoming year of victory. We must walk in Love and Forgiveness, to complete what we are called to do in 2017 and not look into the rear view mirror of yesterday. It’s easy to talk about what has happen in 2016, and find ourselves stuck in failure and defeat, based on our experiences of the year. God is calling us into a deeper walk with him because the word of God says the “Deep calls out to the deep”.

The number sixteen is symbolic of “love and loving”. This duality of true love is represented by 8+8=16, because the number 8 means new beginnings. You might ask the question, “What does this have to do with my year of heartache and disappointment”? Let’s look at what sixteen means to God our Father based on his spoken word and how it affects you and me today.

The number sixteen carries some of the longest words in the King James Bible. They include Covenant breakers (Romans 1:31), Loving kindnesses (Ps.25:6) and Unprofitableness (Hebrews 7:18). The words “sickness and branch” as well as the phrase “the Father” appears sixteen times in the scriptures. We need to make sure that we are walking in the fullness of the Love of God and end this year with a heart of Forgiveness! We can’t expect a mighty move of the Lord in 2017 carrying the same hurts and unforgiveness of our past. This year God has shown us his true love in spite of all we have gone through as ministers and children of the Lord. To decree what we are expecting in this coming year, we must know what the word of God says about the number seventeen and what it means for our families. The number seventeen symbolizes “overcoming the enemy and complete victory”. When God flooded the earth with water in Noah’s day, it was on the 17th of the second Hebrew month that this happened. The Ark, with Noah and his family rested on the mountains of Ararat, on the 17th of the seventh month (right in the middle of God’s Holy period known as the Feast of Tabernacles).

Jesus Christ gained complete victory over death and the grave when God the Father resurrected him near the sunset on “Nisan” 17, which means the month of salvation. (Saturday April 8, 30 A.D.). In (1 Corinthians chapter 13) the seventeenth mention of the word “Love” comes when the Apostle Paul states it’s the greatest gift of them all (v.13). God’s unending love (John 3:16) is truly victorious over all (nothing lacking) things. As true Christians we need to know that the Day of Atonement has a very special place in our daily walk (commonly referred to as Yom Kippur) which occurs in the seventh Hebrew month on the tenth day that equals seventeen. This is the binging of Satan (Revelation 20). Seventeen testifies to Jesus Christ overcoming of Satan totally.

One soul IS worth it All“.
